This section describes a commission completed for GSK (Glaxo Smith Kline Pharmaceuticals)
At the company site, contractors had to be accompanied at all times until they had completed the company's training programme. This was because of the hygiene & safety regulations which were in force.
The site operated 24 hours a day for 365 days a year. Contractors often had to attend site outside of the hours that the training department operated.
By creating the training on CD, contractors could complete the course at any time of night or day.
A computer marked assessment at the end of the training generated the necessary site paperwork for those passing the test to work unaccompanied.
